Community-wide Disaster Response - bereavement
specialists are ready
to help in the case of community-wide trauma or loss - earthquakes,
fires,
floods or violent crimes - They are available for crisis intervention
and
individual and group work to help people address the grief, anger and
confusion
common when a community experiences collective loss.
Professional Support and Consultation - offers peer
support and
education for professionals engaged in bereavement counseling.
Educational
workshops and consultation are available for professionals wishing to
expand
their skills.
Widow/Widower Outreach and Support - 2X/month;
daytime
group meetings
- $25 annual membership fee.
Family Bereavement Camp - with Rauch Ami and Camp
Tawonga - Friday,

NextSteps at Sinai Memorial Chapel, Camp Towanga, and the Bureau of
Jewish Education/Family Education Project.

Visiting Nurses and Hospice
Provides:
Individual grief support - sliding scale donation
Bereavement Support Groups - $5.00 - $25.00 donation
requested for
each meeting. No one is turned away due to inability to pay.
Family and Friends Bereavement Group - for those
who
have experienced
the recent death of a loved one due to chronic or terminal illness or
sudden
death. (Thursday evenings - 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Ten week closed
group.)
Widows and Widowers Bereavement Group - for
Seniors
grieving the
loss of a spouse. (Monday afternoons - 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. Drop In.)
